The idea of a “Made in the USA” iPhone has resurfaced following President Trump’s implementation of 25% tariffs designed to pressure companies like Apple to bring manufacturing home. While the White House insists America has both the workforce and resources to build iPhones domestically, the reality presents a far more complicated picture – and a potentially eye-watering price tag for consumers.
